The National Center on Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM Center) has released its first "Status of State Systems for the Revision of NIMAS/AIM in 2010" report.  Based on a nationwide survey conducted last summer, the report provides a national snapshot (including data collected from all 50 states, two outlying areas, and two freely associated states) of the United States current status of systems that support the implementation of NIMAS and AIM across the country.  The report, which includes NIMAS/AIM recommendations to improve the educational outcomes of students with disabilities who require instructional materials in accessible formats, is now available to download at http://aim.cast.org/learn/policy/stateresources/statestatus2010.
