Subject: Smarter Balanced Range Finding Committee Application

Missouri is recruiting Range Finding Committee members and alternates for English language arts grades 3-5 and grades 6-8 and mathematics grades 3-5 and high school.  Range Finding Committees will review student responses, recommend anchor papers, and validate rubrics from the Pilot Test.

Successful candidates will spend four days out of state working with educators from around the country.  Travel expenses will be paid.  Interested educator candidates can apply by completing the application survey at http://surveys.mo.gov and choosing "DESE - SBAC Range Finding Committee 2013" by the close of business on May 22, 2013.
