Missouri State University is seeking applicants for the position of Blindness Skills Specialist.  This individual provides professional development to school districts on topics related to visual impairment and provides information and training to parents of children identified with blindness or low vision (BLV).  The successful candidate will travel to schools in southwest Missouri and surrounding regions to provide services and professional development in the field of BLV/O&M.  Masters degree in vision impairment or related field required.  Five years of experience as a teacher of the visually impaired and/or orientation and mobility provider is required.
