This course is for educational teams serving students with combined vision and hearing losses. The course is composed of three face-to-face sessions, self-study, action planning, and onsite assistance/mentoring. Participants will apply course content (visual/auditory impairment and communication needs) as they plan the educational programs for the deafblind student(s) they serve. The three class sessions will be in Cape Girardeau at Cape Girardeau School District, 301 N. Clark Street; October 26-28, 2011; January 25-26, 2012; and, April 18-19, 2012. College credit is available.
