The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services with the U. S. Department of Education has revised the Question and Answer document on dispute resolution procedures. The new document discusses mediation, child complaint procedures, due process complaints and hearings, the resolution process, and expedited due process hearings. Many of the topics are directed at the state agency but there is also guidance for districts if they are involved in a child complaint or due process complaint.
