The Library Media Center at Missouri School for the Blind offers several services to professionals throughout the state who work with students who are visually impaired.  Through this program, district educators may borrow professional materials on topics related to the education of students with visual impairment.  A list of professional materials available for loan may be viewed by going to the MSB online catalog at  then selecting "Resource Lists" on the left, "Public Lists" on the right, then "Professional Development" from the list.  Professionals may also borrow braille and print-braille books for their students who read braille.  These books may be sent through the mail or the educator may bring students who read braille on a field trip to the MSB library to browse the braille collection and choose their own braille books to borrow.  In addition, professionals may find some braille books they would like to get to keep for their students on the Braille Book Exchange List maintained by the MSB Library Media Center.
