This presentation is designed to familiarize participants with the collection and reporting of Special Education data and how the data are being used at local, state and national levels. Participants will know where to report the data through MOSIS and/or Core Data and how to report the data well. They will also know how the data relate to improvement planning.
This resentation focuses on an overview of special education funding, including: State and Local Expenditures/Revenues, Federal Part B Requirements, Special Purpose Funds, Medicaid, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), and Fiscal Monitoring.
This webinar focuses on the components of General Supervision and the responsibilities by the State Agency to monitor and oversee school districts in meeting the provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
